Luis is one of the most recognized soccer talents in the Bay Area and was recently nominated “High School Coach of the Year” by the San Jose Mercury News. Previously, he was the editor of mlsnet.com the official website of Major League Soccer. A rich soccer history backs Luis inside and outside the field. He conducts the soccer program for Overfelt High School giving the Royals their sixth league title on his third year as a head coach. He also coaches the Union City Eagles U-13 boys recently crowned state champions, the first for the UCYSL in thirty years. Also, he contributes yet again to the Soccer world as a Spanish radio commentator for the San Jose Earthquakes. Luis enjoys soccer at all levels. He has also spent time with advocate farm families helping them to raise the educational status as a leader of the Mexican-American Sports Association, a joint effort of the bilateral governments of Mexico and the USA. Besides soccer, he enjoys open-wheel racing of IRL and Champ Cars and is a native of Jalisco Mexico. His vast knowledge and experience are undeniable and he will gladly answer any questions that pertain to the soccer world or any of our quality products.
